Admission Process

Calling us to begin your healing journey is one of the bravest things you can do. At Lumiere Detox Center, a premier Florida detox center, we know how much courage it takes, and we welcome you with open arms to your journey through detox and recovery. We know each person’s journey to recovery is unique, and we’re here to help you on yours as you get your own life back. At every step of the way, we are dedicated to providing compassion, care, and positive results.

Our First Contact With You

Typically, our first contact with you occurs when you call us, or fill in a form or chat with us from our website. You’re immediately connected to an admissions professional who wants to hear about your unique situation. All our conversations with you are confidential, and our first phone consultation with you is completely free.

Our trained admissions counselor will ask you questions about your condition. Every detail you share with us is kept confidential. We take all steps to protect your privacy, and we don’t share information with anyone you haven’t designated to learn that information.

We keep our first conversation with you simple and focused. We’ll ask about insurance, and as soon as we have the information we need, we turn the conversation to finding the right treatment options for you.

Approval for Admission to Our Florida Detox Center

After our first conversation with you, we immediately turn our focus to making sure you can be qualified medically, clinically and financially for admission to our premier Florida detox center. We’re happy to explain our medical and other admissions criteria to you. If we’re not the right treatment center to help you or your loved one, we’ll provide recommendations, all in an effort to do everything we can to meet your needs.

Once our trained admissions counselors make the determination that you meet our medical criteria and other admissions requirements, we’ll walk you through the entire admissions process. We provide you with a detailed outline covering all the treatment options we offer, and we’ll discuss any out-of-pocket expenses you might incur. We work with you at every step of the way to get all the information needed to finalize and arrange for your admission.

We want to get you the help you need as soon as possible. We’ll work with your schedule, in case you need a slight delay before entering detox and treatment, but we have typically found that your chances for success increase the more quickly you enter treatment like our Florida detox center.

Based on our extensive conversations with you, we can let you know how long your treatment is likely to last. We’ll walk you through your first day with us before you ever arrive to make sure you feel comfortable and know exactly what to anticipate. We also go over our visitation policies, again, so you know what to expect.

Finally, we arrange transportation to bring you to our facility safely and comfortably. No matter how far away you live, we’re committed to finding you the best, most accommodating transportation possible.

Admission and Assessment

Once you arrive at Lumiere Detox Center, a premier Florida detox center, our first concern is you. We greet you with open arms, with the focus of making you as comfortable as we can. We start by evaluating your physical condition to make sure that any symptoms caused by dependence on drugs or alcohol aren’t actually masking more important medical issues that need immediate attention.

We know how challenging it can be to face addictions and overcome them, and we admire your courage for stepping up to the challenge. We want to work with the positive energy you’ve already shown in contacting us, standing by your side in your battle to beat addiction. We know from our long experience that getting into treatment right away is crucial once you arrive at our facility, so we have you meet with our addiction experts right away.

Our trained professionals work with you to finalize your treatment plan. Nothing is final until you have heard and understood all our treatment recommendations. Once your initial assessment has been completed and you have agreed to follow the program we put in place for you, we consider you admitted, and your detox and treatment can begin.

The Beginning of Detox and Treatment

After the admissions process is completed, your detox begins. We give you a tour of the facility and take you to your private room. We provide 24/7 monitoring for your safety, which is always our top concern.

After you have completed the detox process, you can move into treatment and recovery. During treatment, we will explore the reasons underlying your addiction. We’ll look for the triggers that start you down the negative path toward drug or alcohol use, and seek out ways to remove or deal with them. We’ll also explore any other co-occurring issues as we begin the journey toward recovery together.
